Delayed charges

This is a Merchant Initiated Transaction (MIT) performed after the initial or estimated authorisation has been approved and captured. It is typically used to capture additional charges identified post-transaction, such as mini-bar usage or damage to a rental car.

Note that Delayed charges can only be performed for configured no. of days post first Auth is captured. To know more about Delayed charges config visit MIT configurations

A merchant can initiate a Delayed on an existing Captured Order from merchant portal, provided that delayed charges is triggered within the the configured delayed charges time window.

Merchant can initiate Delayed charges from the portal. A Delayed charges button will be available on Auth's orders page once it is fully captured.

Merchant can input the delayed charges amount and proceed to process delayed charges.

Once delayed charges are made, a new Purchase order is created in the portal and transaction is performed. To view the details of delayed charges order, merchant can copy the delayed charges order id from original order's history, search and get the details.
